Melissa Woods is a legal assistant, primarily working with Michael Vaughan, David Skeens, and Vanessa Herman.
Ms. Woods is from Warsaw, Missouri, where she was President of her high school class, excelled in softball and spent her summers on Truman Lake. She received her degree from the University of Missouri, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English, with an Emphasis in Creative Writing.
Ms. Woods has been a legal assistant at Walters Bender Strohbehn & Vaughan since 2009. She is heavily involved in the defense of life insurance and annuity cases, including class actions and multi-district litigation throughout the country.
