R. Keith Johnston

Mr. Johnston has been a business and commercial litigation attorney his entire career. He has prosecuted litigation for a variety of businesses interests, both large and small, with a wide range of subject matters involving, among others, securities law, insurance law, corporate law, bankruptcy law, products liability, real estate, fraud and contract liability. Although his primary focus has been on the resolution and court briefing of complex legal and factual issues involved in commercial litigation, at both the trial and appellate levels, Mr. Johnston has participated in many trials. In addition to trial experience, he has attended countless depositions and has appeared in numerous court proceedings to argue procedural motions, discovery motions and dispositive motions for summary judgment or motions to dismiss.

Mr. Johnston’s publications include: Case Note, Medical Malpractice and Wrongful Birth: A Critical Analysis of Wilson v. Kuenzi, 57 UMKC L. Rev. 337 (1989) and Comment, Federal Regulatory Taking Jurisprudence and Missouri Inverse Condemnation, 58UMKC L. Rev. 421 (1990).

He has been involved in the community though being a member of Fairway Kansas Planning Commission since 1991.
