After growing up in the small Missouri Ozarks town of Salem, Michael Vaughan pursued an education centered on business, economics and law. Likewise, his trial practice is focused in the areas of complex commercial litigation, including a focus on life insurance and annuity litigation, allegations of business fraud and the prosecution and defense of class actions across the country. Mr. Vaughan has prosecuted and defended commercial litigation matters in not only Missouri and Kansas, but from New York to California, Oregon to Florida and Wisconsin to Texas.

Mr. Vaughan has successfully tried a number of jury and nonjury cases, including the prosecution and defense of numerous securities arbitration cases and cases involving other financial products. He is continuously involved in the defense of a number of life insurance and annuity cases, as well as the prosecution of class actions involving violations of consumer protection laws.
